Situated on the mystical island of Langkawi to the north of the Malaysian peninsula is The Andaman - a 5-star resort managed by GHM Hotels & Resorts. The Andaman is built into the heart of a 10 million-year-old virgin tropical rainforest, cradled between the majestic Mat Cincang mountain range and the deep-blue Andaman Sea.
The Resort features 186 rooms, designed in traditional Malaysian style, each with king or twin beds, mini-bar, espresso machines and tea-making facilities, flat screen televisions, individually controlled air conditioning, in-room safe, IDD telephone lines and standing balconies. The 25 Lanai rooms feature sunning decks reaching out to the jungle whilst The Executive Suites and Presidential Suite feature king-size beds, a separate living area, spacious balcony and private bar.
Please be informed that the resort will soon be continuing refurbishment works to the guest bathrooms in the South Wing rooms. The project will commence on 2 May 2011 and expect to completed no later than 30 June 2011.
